Find Someone Who Bingo
Give everyone a reason to speak to someone they do not already know. Each square starts with an instruction to find a person, so players have an opening line before they have to invent one.
What is Find Someone Who Bingo?
Find Someone Who Bingo is a card where every square describes a person rather than a fact. Players move around the group, ask questions and mark a square once they have found somebody it matches, often noting that person's name in the box.
The format suits rooms where people have not met, because the card carries the conversation instead of leaving people to introduce themselves from nothing.
How to play Find Someone Who Bingo
- Write prompts that fit the group, the setting and the time available.
- Generate a randomised card for every player.
- Explain whether each person can be used once or more than once.
- Share the game live with a QR code, or hand out printed cards.
- Set a time limit and say whether players are aiming for a line or a full card.
- Close the activity by asking a few people who they met and what they found out.

How to choose better prompts
- Make each prompt likely to match at least one person present.
- Favour prompts that lead to a short conversation rather than a single word.
- Mix easy squares with a few that need more searching.
- Leave out anything personal, sensitive or uncomfortable to answer.
- Add two or three squares that only make sense for this particular group.
Get-to-Know-You Bingo
The same card is often called a get-to-know-you game. Keep the prompts light, keep the activity short, and use it at the point where people have arrived but the session has not properly started.
Is Find Someone Who the same as Human Bingo?
They are closely related. Human Bingo is the broader name for a people-focused card, while Find Someone Who describes the same game through the wording of its squares.
Make your own game
Start from the ready-made Find Someone Who Bingo Template and edit the squares, or write the whole card yourself. Either way, each player gets a randomised card and you can choose live or printable play.
