Who we are

RoomZing ("we", "us") provides a tool for building and running branded bingo and icebreaker activities. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up.
  • Game content: the prompts, titles and settings you create for your bingo cards, and any logo or brand colours you add.
  • Participant nicknames: the nickname a participant chooses when joining a live session, and their in-game progress for that session.
  • Usage data: basic technical data such as pages visited, used to keep the service reliable and, where you've consented, anonymised analytics.
  • Contact messages: details you submit through our contact form.

Lawful basis for processing

We process account and game data under contract, to provide the RoomZing service you've signed up for. We process analytics cookies and non-essential data only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We process contact messages under legitimate interest, to respond to your enquiry.

Retention

We keep account and game data for as long as your account is active. Live session data, including participant nicknames, is kept only as long as needed to run and review that session, and is deleted or anonymised after a reasonable retention period. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to run RoomZing, generally: a cloud database and authentication provider, a hosting provider, and, where you've consented, a privacy-conscious analytics provider. Each is bound by its own data protection terms and only processes data on our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
