Classroom Getting-to-Know-You Bingo
A friendly, age-appropriate bingo game to help classmates get to know each other.
Classroom Getting-to-Know-You Bingo helps pupils build connections early in the term by finding classmates who share interests, hobbies, and everyday experiences. It is designed for use in classroom settings and keeps every prompt light, inclusive, and appropriate for young people. Teachers can use it as a settling-in activity, a form time filler, or a warm-up before group work.
How to run this activity
Give every pupil a bingo card and explain that they need to find classmates who match each square, writing their name in the box. Set a clear time limit and encourage pupils to speak to as many different classmates as possible rather than filling squares with the same few names. Remind pupils to ask politely and move on if someone does not match a square. Celebrate whoever completes a line or full card within the time given.
